Early Season illness forces Haas to rest in Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race

Unfortunately Nathan Haas will not start tomorrow's Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race. After not feeling well for a few days our on site medical team has assessed the situation. "Nathan has a fever and bronchitis, and it wouldn't be safe for him to start tomorrow" - Dr. Dag Van Elslande

"There's never a good time to be sick during the season, and I'm especcially gutted to not be at my best for my home races" said Haas. "The plan is to rest and recover for the next goals though.  I'm confident in the strength of our squad here in Australia to contest the race strongly, and I'll be cheering them on tomorrow."

Our for first one day world tour race of 2019:

Jens Debusschere

Alex Dowsett

Ruben Guerreiro

Marco Haller

Viatchslav Kuznetsov

Dmitry Strakhov

Speedy recovery to Nathan! We know you will be back and in full force soon!
